Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates during the early part of the 20th century as a means of helping to alleviate ill health. Pilates consists of controlled movements which help to:

Improve flexibility.

Build Strength.

Develop control and endurance in the entire body.

Develop a strong core.

Improve coordination, balance and stability.
