Searching for our postcode will bring you to within about 100 metres of the community centre along Humphrey Lane. However, either of the following links will get you right outside the door:
Travelling by Public Transport:
The Urmston Hotel bus stops are about a 6 minute walk away, where you should be able to travel to/from any location in Greater Manchester.
Humphrey Park Railway Station is about a 5 minute walk away, with hourly train services running on the Liverpool-Manchester line. Here you can hop on a train to/from Irlam, Flixton, Urmston, Humphrey Park, Trafford Park, Deansgate, Manchester Oxford Road, Manchester Piccadilly, and much further afield if required.
Please note: Transport services may only run on certain days at specific times, and are subject to regular review. We therefore recommend that you plan your journey via the Transport for Greater Manchester website before travelling.
Travelling on foot, bike or by car:
For the most direct routes, please plan your journey using the what3words or Google Map links provided above.
Cycling directions can be found at cyclestreets.net. Here, you can set your start and end locations, select your normal cycling speed, then choose between the fastest, quietest or balanced routes provided, depending on your needs at the time.
Walking routes can be found at outdooractive.com, with an emphasis for off-road routes via footpaths and tracks (please be mindful of your safety during quieter times and in the dark).
The M60 motorway is nearby, with access to the area via junctions 7 or 9. (Please avoid junction 8 as this will take you in the wrong direction along the Carrington Spur.)
Please note: The short byroad at the junction of Stretford Road and Humphrey Lane (in front of the One Stop shop) is one way. This is not shown on many Sat Nav and other electronic and online maps. Please make sure you enter the byroad from the Urmston Hotel end, and then turn left into Humphrey Lane.
Car Park: There are 14 spaces for parking, which are free of charge. Please note that the car park is shared with the bowling clubs. If the car park is full when you arrive and you need to park on the road, please be considerate and make sure you do not block narrow local roads and private drives. Leave plenty of room for emergency vehicles, such as fire engines and ambulances, to get through. Thank you.
