If you’re looking for a space for your own activity or meeting, the centre has four rooms available for hire, all at very reasonable rates.
You'll find all the general but important room hire information on this page, including opening times, facilities available, guidance on how to make a booking, indemnity insurance requirements, policies and procedures (including our terms of hire), centre accessibility, and a floor plan.
For information specific to each room, like photographs, prices and capacities, use the links above to visit each room page.
Please note: We are currently unable to take bookings for parties and social gatherings.
We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.
- Plenty of chairs and folding tables which you can arrange to meet your needs.
- An accessible toilet with assistance alarm (RADAR lock fitted).
- An efficient heating system which provides instant heat to keep you nice and warm when it's cold outside.
- Recycling facilities.
If you are hiring any one of our four rooms at The Centre, you also have access to the kitchen free of charge.
Kitchen facilities include a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, wall mounted water heater for making hot drinks for larger groups, a normal kettle for smaller groups, and a hatch through to the Hall.
Please note:
The kitchen is a shared space which you may need to share with other people using the centre at the same time.
Regretably, we are unable to book out the kitchen seperately.
Children are not permitted in the kitchen area.
Use the red buttons above to explore each room. Each room page includes all the information you should need, including the price, photographs, and maximum capacities based on various room layouts.
Click the BOOK NOW button to visit the calendar app where you can check availability and request your booking.
The calendar app allows a 30 minute gap between each session. This promotes a smooth transition from one booking to the next. If the system won't let you book a room, it's not available.
Complete your booking request in the calendar app by clicking the Booking Enquiry button or by clicking directly on a time slot on the calendar.
Please bear with us while we review your booking request and get back to you.
We provide indemnity insurance via Trafford Council for voluntary groups, other non profit making organisations and individuals using the centre for non-profit making purposes only (eg. some ad-hoc bookings, community groups and meetings etc.). A fee of 10% of your hire charge will be added to your invoice for this service. The cover can NOT extend to companies, organisations or individuals using the centre for profit making commercial ventures, in which case you will be expected to provide your own indemnity insurance of at least £5m (See terms of hire for more information).
One-off Bookings: These will be invoiced upon confirmation of your booking - payment is due once we issue the invoice.
Regular Weekly or Monthly Bookings: A monthly invoice will be issued for bookings that occur during that month. Payment is due within 15 days. For more details, see our Associate Membership page.
Please note that hourly room rates displayed are subject to change at any time.
We'd like The Centre to be accessible and used by all in the community. Here are the answers to the questions we have been asked regarding accessibility:
All rooms are on the ground floor.
Access is via a concrete ramp at the main entrance.
In the event of an emergency, a ramp is available at the hall fire exit door closest to the stage.
The entrance to all rooms is wide enough to allow for wheelchair access.
The accessible toilet is located on the main corridor, and is fitted with a National Key Scheme (RADAR) lock.
Of the 14 car parking spaces available, one is designated for the disabled.
Braille is provided on room name signs.
There is contrast between doors, walls and floors in order to make them easily distinguishable.
The halls in particular, benefit from plenty of natural light.
The car park is well lit at night during centre opening hours.
If there is anything else you need to know, or if you experience any accessibility issues, please do contact us to let us know.
