Ju-jitsu is a Japanese martial art, developed and refined as a battlefield system by the Samurai warriors of feudal Japan. Making use of anatomical knowledge and the principle of leverage, Ju-Jitsu uses your opponent’s own strength and weight against them.
Sensei Dave Court (Nidan) and Sensei Mike Wood (Shodan), members of the Fighting Arts Organisation of Great Britain, teach a system of Kempo Ju-Jitsu utilised for both Self-Defence and by many security services, armed forces, law enforcement and special forces groups around the world. It includes punching, kicking, blocks, throws, sweeps, locks, holds, takedowns and nerve strikes, to name a few aspects.
People of age 8 and over, both male and female, are welcome to attend.
