In the early 1900s, one of the tennants of Victoria Villas was John Tiller - who founded The Tiller Girls dance troup in 1889.
In 1990, another house was built alongside Victoria Villas to the right.
As transport conditions improved, use of the coach house likely declined, and this was converted into a dwelling house called Victoria Cottage. Initially let to tennants, it became the smallest house this side of Urmston. Extensions were added when it was sold in 1958.
