St Clement’s Branch Church, which was located at the junction of Humphrey Lane and Rock Road, opened in 1938. It hosted monthly church services and various community events for 85 years, until closing in 2023. Over the years, the building served a variety of purposes, including a football pavilion (possibly for Humphrey Park AFC), a school and a rehearsal venue for the Humphrey Park Entertainers, in addition to hosting monthly church services for the local community.

In 2023, following professional advice, the building was considered unsafe and no longer viable, and the difficult decision was made to close it. Monthly services relocated to Humphrey Park Community Centre in November 2023.
As of 2026, the building remains empty, having stood unused for almost three years.
