St Clement’s Branch Church, which was located at the junction of Humphrey Lane and Rock Road, opened in 1938. It remained a vibrant hub for monthly church services and various community events for 85 years, until closing in 2023. At the branch church, monthly services for the local community were held, and the building has also served as a football pavilion (perhaps to the Humphrey Park AFC Team), a school, and a rehearsal venue for the Humphrey Park Entertainers.

In 2023, following professional advice, the building was considered unviable and unsafe, and the difficult decision was made to close it. Monthly services relocated to Humphrey Park Community Centre in November 2023.
In 2025, the building remains having stood empty for almost 2 years. Plans for the site are currently unknown.
